Today was the best day I've had working at Macy's thus far, hands down.

Clinton Kelly was there to promote his book and had a fashion show. A picture of him signing someone's book is to come (yes, I was too cheap to buy it). The highlight of my day was running into him coming out of the bathroom, and he actually SPOKE to me! He said "oops, sorry." Love it.

So the day got better. There was a tornado that touched down pretty close to Macy's, but luckily we didn't get hit. The power flickered on and off a few times, and then everyone in the entire store was evacuated to the bottom floor of Macy's. It was chaos for a short while there but a welcome break from selling shoes.

Last but not least, the Clarks representative was in today and gave all the employees in the shoes department 10 dollars to Chik-fil-a and scratch-offs for cash. So I got a free meal and 10 dollars cash. Not a bad day at all. Shout out to Clarks shoes! (It's the least I could do to promote them).
